Massim is really nice and he take good care of the place.
Very close to Rabat, just a short walk. Take the public water taxi over to the main town as it is really cheap and fun. The souk of Sale is also lovely! The sea on the Sale side is easily accessible. Dress modestly to fit in when swimming, this is a locals beach. The tram is also easy to get on and use from the Sale side.

Salé has much more of the old world charm than does Rabat, and after all that is why you visited Morocco in the first place! Naturally the street food and small cafes are great, but if you want fine dining it is within a short walk to the marina area. There you will have access to excellent food and a great selection of the finest locally produced wines. Try "Al Marsa" restaurant. Not only great food and wine but a table practically on the riverbank!

Salé is well worth a visit, especially if you're in Rabat.
Salé is well worth a visit, especially if you're in Rabat. The medina is beautiful with lots of colourful buildings. Lots of history. Everyone we met was kind.
The souk doesn't have much "traditional" Moroccan stuff like old rugs or fancy teapots, but it's a great place for bargains on regular things. No one is pushy or aggressive.
Staying in Salé and getting the tram to Rabat is also cheaper than staying in the capital. Rabat is easily accessible via tram. Salé is well connected to the rest of Morocco by train or bus and Rabat Airport is there.

Salé has a beautiful beach area with great views of Rabat.
Salé has a beautiful beach area with great views of Rabat. Other than that the Médina is pretty confusing and easy to get lost in. It can also feel unsafe at times although we didn’t have any actual issues while there. There aren’t a lot of transportation or food options once you’ve walked away from the tram station.

What made Sale for us was that it wasn't as touristy as some other cities in Morocco; it seemed like a more authentic North African experience than you get in the big tourist locales and you got the chance to enjoy true Moroccan hospitality.

Wonderful views over the harbour and of the Kasbah.
Wonderful views over the harbour and of the Kasbah. Not far from Rabat, but if you don’t like walking perhaps not the place to stay.
Taxis a bit confusing as the Petit Taxis are only allowed to take you around the local area not into Rabat. The owners of the Riad however will give lifts for a reasonable price.
The staff members were very kind and helpful. The décor and architecture was elegant and striking. It feels like you are stepping back in time. The restaurants by the marina did not disappoint with the seafood offerings. A legit French chef runs the kitchen at Marinasla. His fish soup is the best on the Sale side. They also have the best shirimp pil pil. Don't believe the google reviews. They don't have a fancy seating area, but the food is really good.
Marea in Rabat is also worth a visit.
Staying at Dar Ribati is an exceptional and memorable experience. Giving a 10/10 for the people managing the property for the excellent service and quality of the accommodation. The hosts are lovely and kind while providing friendly support for any need required around the stay. Very impressed with the property which is a Riad, comfortable, finely decorated and with clean facilities. The breakfast served there is very nice too. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend the place!
The property have unique traditional morrocan riad style that give you the athentic experience of maghrebin culture, the owner ahmad is a very charismatic and cultured man he made our stay even more enjoyable his hospitality is way something else as he gave us precious tips and even handed us over morrocan sweets along with morrocan tea i would definitely recommend staying in his household as its a walking distance from salé marina and very close to the old souk of sale .
Charming, authentic, colorful traditional riad. Great view from terrace. The hosts are the most friendly, helpful, and hospitable folks ever! Ask them for meal recommendations; they know their stuff. Location seemed to be near our interests. Parking and entrance convenient enough. Electric blankets on beds appreciated for January stay. Enjoyed the coffee and msemen at breakfast. If in Rabat again, I’d definitely consider another stay here.
This Riad feels stopped in time. I gorgeous, it makes you wonder continuously about it’s past… Is one of the most beautiful riad I had the pleasure to stay. Very high cealings, beautiful tile work that feels like the original one. We also liked that thanks to this Riad we discovered Sale. I’m glad it was affordable enough to see how beautiful this building is.
We enjoyed three fantastic days in Salé/Rabat, and the Repose proved to be an ideal riad. Jan, our wonderful hostess, was consistently helpful and kind. Her superb map and insightful tips greatly enhanced our exploration of this delightful city. The breakfast was delicious—couldn't have asked for more.
This riad is just like the photos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. There's a nice view from the rooftop terrace. The entrance is down a narrow alleyway which may seem off putting but is safe enough. Taxi drivers are very helpful and Sale is very close to the airport.
Located next to the Sale medina. We got there by rental car which we parked on the street. The room was large and clean. Around the riad quite few restaurants exist, fortunately the restaurant in the riad serves good food.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Good cleaning and excellent location , cleanness of this place unreal clean as place I have seen best location and very quite,
The apartment has everything we need for a few days, it is very bright and panoramic, in a beautiful part of the city. Very clean.
The staff were amazing, from the room service to the Ge eral manager, everyone was so nice and helpful.
Big thanks to Malak on the front desk for being wonderful with our daughter.
Great team, great hotel, nothing was out of place...excellence by example.
Very friendly atmospheric local style place near the riverfront in Sale. Very helpful staff, nice decor, comfy big bed with electric blanket heat, good hot water, a very good place to stay in Sale. Good TV and wifi. Great breakfast.
This riad is one of the best where I have been during 6 weeks of traveling in Morocco. Spacious room, good breakfast, walking distance from the station of Salé, it represents a perfect pit stop during your exploration of Morocco.
Everything was good at the hotel. Clean and large rooms, the water pressure was good. The staff was very kind. Room service was punctual and quick. I will definitely return here.
Location is not far froncity center but you need car to go. Breakfast was good with some options. Very quite reception and hotel atmosphere but not on one nighght
Traditional Riad on the outskirts of Sale Rabat. it was walking distance to the beach and marina. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. The owner was very helpful.
