Absolute must visit in Casablanca. Buy tickets for Museum and Mosque in the Museum shop at the entrance to the open square. Inexpensive and official underground parking next to Mosque so don't be bothered with street touts. Mosque is breathtaking both inside and out. Timed visits with guides in your language. The museum is also a must and take time to look around the museum shop which is full of exquisite artisan craft by students at very good prices.
This was the most beautiful, spectaculatand clean place around Casablanca. Try to get inside mosque which ussually possible for foreigners at 3 p.m. with guides in English, Italian, Russian, French or German languages. You pay donation like 20 EUR but its worth it.
Take a tour of the inside of the mosque. It is magnificent, one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. The tours tend to be very thorough, and the museum offers many insights into the workmanship that went into the mosque’s creation.
Go inside and pay the entrance fee, it makes the mosque self sufficient plus the tourist guide that we had was so funny and good and learned so much from one hour. The inside is majestic, breath taking and really worth seeing. I loved the experience.
one of the wonders of the world up there with places like the Taj Mahal and Alhambra palace in Spain. See it at night when lit up. Our night time visit coincided with a misty evening and it looked like it had just been dropped from heaven giving us an ethereal mystical experience.
It was beautifull from inside, but we went for the tour at 9 o clock. We only had tickets at 9.10 and than the guide had allready left. The group was to big to onderstand anything. That was not so Nice. But the building is amazing!
The breakfast is very good and contains different kinds of food for all tastes. Location is nothing exceptional: about 25 minutes walking from tramway path and about 50 minutes walking from the Hassan II Mosque. There is a nice market nearby, though, and a good restaurant accessible not only from the street, but also directly from the hotel's hall. There was no shortage of clean towels every day. The staff speaks English. The Wi-Fi works seamlessly across the room, the hall, the breakfast place, and the restaurant.
i was surprised of the good quality of the hotel, the room was big, the staff was very friendly. I had a room with a nice view of the Hassan II mosque. The breakfast was good. i definitely recommend Melliber Apt hotel to anyone visiting Casablanca. In this time of pandemic they are doing a good job keeping the place clean and sanitized with hand sanitizer everywhere and elevator cleaned all the time by the security staff. You don get back to your room without being temperature checked and sanitized.
The apartment was very spacious with more than enough room for the four of us. It is a very modern apartment with a view of the Hassan II mosque. The location was great as our main purpose in going to Casa Blanca was to see the mosque. It was easy to walk to from the apartment, just 5 minutes. It was also close to a medina. The owner was waiting for us with the keys when we arrived and he was helpful and interesting to talk to.
Really nice staff members, very professional, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. Location is superb, 5 min walking distance from Casa Port, and just inside the Medina, about 20min walking to Hassan II mosque with Rick's cafe otw there. The hotel is very nicely decorated, with a beautiful clean rooftop where you can watch sunset, the restaurant is connected via the rooftop as well.
Host was flexible with the check-in time. Excellent location very close to Casa Port. 20 mins walk to the main square and about the same time to Hassan II Mosque. Noureddine and Moussa allowed us to check in early. We met Moussa who handed us the key and he was super nice. He gave us good advice for the city. The apartment is big, clean, beautiful and fully equipped. Recommend this place.
This is a great spot to spend your first night in Morocco after a long journey from your home to Casablanca. The beds are super comfortable and when you wake up the next morning the coffee is the good kind of strong! Hassan II Mosque is an easy 30 minute walk and the CTM bus station is a 5 minute walk.
A beautiful hotel not too far from the Hassan II mosque with fantastic facilities including the bars and the spa. We really enjoyed our one night there before the grand tour of Morocco. Very nice hotel and authentic in so many ways with very nice and helpful staff. It is expensive but it is worth it!
The staffs were helpful. The WiFi connection was good. The hostel is in the walking range to the train station, Hassan II mosque and the old city. The breakfast might be okay as it was limited to a pastry, jam, butter, and bread. Drinks were a glass of tea and juice.
