100% fit the bill as a comfortable, rural guesthouse at a reasonable price. Hosts were kind, room was clean and inviting and breakfast was excellent. The guesthouse is run with love and care. We enjoyed making ourselves tea in the evenings and going on quiet countryside walks around the little village. 5 minute drive into Melk.

We were moved to the sister hotel which was a great location right opposite where the ships stop. Frau Pichler is very welcoming and fun, the restaurant has a lovely garden area, staff is great, we borrowed e-bikes from the hotel, the room was nice, breakfast was nice, the whole package was just perfect

Handmade, original design, cozy cottage. Beautiful room, lovely location. There is a wonderful sauna inside and towels and deckchairs and all amenities needed. Anna (the owner) is super friendly and very helpful. Coffee and tea are always available. Very good location to discover Wachau valley and there is a place for bikes in the house. This was a perfect experience and I can strongly recommend this place. It is a wonderful farm where you can rest and enjoy the nature, the family is extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and clean. In the morning, you can enjoy wonderful breakfast, which for us was not just a snack to start the day, but an important part of the overall experience. The region itself is wonderful too and there are plenty of places to see and activities to do. It was the best holiday of our lives and we remember it with nostalgia almost every day.
