I loved my stay at the fabulous Hotel Wirtshaus Post. It’s a very well maintained house with a charming style and modern facilities, like a very inviting wellness area. The guy at the reception was exceptional friendly and supportive. In the price included was a 2-day ticket for local public transportation (wow!). I also enjoyed a very delicious dinner and fabulous breakfast (also included). No doubt I will stay there again when being in St. Johann (which developed meanwhile into a much nicer destination than Kitzbühel).

The memory foam beds were super comfortable after a long day of skiing. The apartment was very quiet and far from the street. The showers had lots of pressure and seemingly unlimited hot water. Although small, the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was right next to a large grocery store and a block from the shopping district. A bus stop was nearby too. A great stay!

Did not like paying 30 days in advance--I understand I would be responsible for full amount if I were a no-show, but full amount taken out so far in advance. Don't know who is responsible for this. Was different last year and I will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Great ski resort with something for everyone.
Great ski resort with something for everyone. Great restaurants and bars, we didn't have bad meal at all. Skiing good for all levels but should you not wish to ski there are still things to do in the town or bt=y catching local trains and buses you can get to Kitzbhuel.

St Johann is a great location, well serviced by public transport. The slopes were well maintained. Plenty of places serving good food to eat any of the evenings. Our favourite places were the Huber brau building and Gasthof zur Mauth. Locals are very friendly and thankfully very good at speaking English.

When we skied here in January there was so much snow that we did not even see the mountains - it was snowing heavily all the time! So we came back in the summer to see it, and were not disappointed. We loved walking in the mountains - there are many well-marked trails. And you can go up in the ski gondolas also. We also went cycling - we go e-bikes in the local Intersports Patrick shop. You still get plenty of exercise with e-bikes, but they give you a boost going uphill! The scenery here is amazing - mountains, lakes, forests and mountain steams. Our highlight was climbing Kitzbuheler Horn, from the top station of the Wilderkaiser gondola. There are also many sightseeing trips worth doing in the area. We went to Wattens to see the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, which we enjoyed.

friendly staff. easy key pick up from the hotel 50 yards away. We were upgraded to a larger apartment it was a slow time of year but we appreciated the extra room with our dog. The kitchen was well fitted, salt and pepper available and a few coffee pods. a small bottle of champagne was left for us although we don't drink we appreciated it. the walk to the ski slopes was short and you are right around the corner from a happy hour spot called Max's. We were able to park in covered parking spot.
Do not choose this hotel, the landlord will make up reasons to deduct your deposit! I Would give them minus one star after I was charged 137 Euro of So-called garbage disposal fee, dishwashing fee, table damage fee. Please see attached pictures and let me know, where are the garage, dirty dishes and damaged dinning table? Actually I 've cleaned everything, no any table was damaged. These photos were made at 9:58am ofJanuary 2nd when I was checking out.
The receptionist (cannot recall his name) was very friendly and inviting. On arrival we were given a glass of prosecco. The next day's female receptionist was also very cheery. Breakfasts were amazing....the staff were very helpful with our non-gluten and non-lactose requirements and there was a great variety of food. Despite the room looking over the main road the traffic did not disturb our sleep. The hotel was also very clean.
The hotel is well-kept, in great condition. Location is right in the heart of town - walking distance to/from the train station, many shops & restaurants, etc. We liked the staff. Breakfast included high-quality soft-boiled eggs, and an impressive layout of looseleaf teas with plenty of perfectly sized teapots. The spa has a Turkish (damp) bath as well as a couple of dry saunas of different temperature ranges.
Hotel was soo welcoming, with note on the door, and little gifts for the kids.
Room by the reception is filled with fun stuff for kids so they can be entertained for hours, on top of that there is an extra playroom in the basement and kid bikes/formulas outside to play. Loved how welcomed we felt. We planned to visit the pools, but the weather wasnt nice, so we went to the deer farm near by, had a nice time.
We had an amazing stay at the Angerer Alm in St. Johann in Tirol. The location, the guest house as well as the restaurant were amazing. Both the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all great. Rooms are cozy, with good beds and amazing showers. If you want a stay at an accommodation with the BEST amazing 360° view, amazing food and nice rooms - the Angerer Alm is the way to go!
The hotel is a nice organized hotel, Staff at reception was helpful, breakfast was ok, dinner varied but in general was quite good. Rooms are nice size with balcony and clean. Beds could be wider but sleeping was ok. We booked this hotel mainly because of ski out and in, with the lift and slope being very close IN THEORY !
I visited the hotel with my husband, mother and 2 months old son. We booked the family apartment which was huge and comfortable. We have been provided with comphy baby cot. The apartment was very clean. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the SPA zone (finish and infrared saunas, steam bath) and pool.
Modern and clean hotel with a nice vibe. The breakfast was solid, the wellness area was great. The room was very utilitarian with plenty of space for cloths and lots of places to hang gear/clothes. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Would recommend.
Hotel was very cozy and comfortable. The design was modern, but it still felt like it belonged in the Alps. The wood finishings smelled nice. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed the bread corner at breakfast.
A nice, comfortable hotel in a great location. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. And the staff were all very friendly, welcoming and professional.
The hotel is within a walking distance from the center. The room was big and full of daylight. I had to leave early and the staff prepared for me a coffee in the termos a night before. That was sweet:)
