Only spent a short night at the hotel before my flight out...
Only spent a short night at the hotel before my flight out of Amsterdam very early the next morning back to the U.S. So I didn't eat at the restaurant nor have breakfast before I left. Not the most modern hotel, but clean and comfortable with friendly staff and a convenient location.MathiasUnited States - 10Scored 10
A lovely peaceful place to stay next to a golf course, with...
A lovely peaceful place to stay next to a golf course, with plenty of outdoor space and within easy drive to a supermarket in the small town of Nieuwveen if needed about a mile away. Within easy reach of several picturesque Dutch towns by car with plenty windmills, farmland and canals all around. Lovely lunches and afternoon tea and cakes served until 6pm, but if you want dinner, maybe head off to Alphen aan der Rijn, or nip into Nieuwveen for a burger and chips. There is a fridge microwave and kettle provided for guests after 6 pm in a room on the ground floor where you can sit and eat your own food, with a minibar fridge too. The property website is excellent. Staff are very helpful and pleasant.
