Friendliness of the staff, couple of small points on the room, toilet door not able to be closed properly and in wardrobe metal bar kept on falling

I really liked the hotel. Its smart and modern and well presented. The bed was incredibly comfy and despite it being a busy bank holiday, I thought the sound proofing was good as I didn't hear basically anything (Although in the morning I was woken up by a beer lorry unloading?)
The room was spacious and the tvs are huge even in a basic room. I found the curtains were good with blocking out light too as I prefer pitch black room to sleep in.
No hairdryer in room despite mentioning it though but plenty of towels for a solo traveller.
I took my dog and had no issues with him during my stay. As it should be, guests are reminded at check in that dogs aren't allowed on the beds but I'd pre planned and bought along his blanket so had no issues with him and the staff were very friendly towards him too.

The bedroom and private bathroom were both bigger than expected. Both were big and spacious and really clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, warm and very comfortable. Gorgeous inside and out loved it.
Visiting Staverton was a great experience. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Staverton and that was the purpose of our visit. We had such a wonderful time, walking the trails. taking the steam train into Totnes, which is a great place to shop! We were there in May and the spring weather with all the plants and flowers blooming, it was so picturesque! We have so many wonderful photos to remember our fantastic time in Staverton. We will be back hopefully sooner than later.
We loved the exceptionally comfortable beds, the generously luxurious details (beds and bathrooms like a 5* hotel), nothing too much trouble for our hosts. Delicious breakfast well worth booking in extra if it’s not part of the room rate. The place itself is beautiful, a large farm, laid out so you can wander about and see what’s going on. Really friendly and creative team running everything.
