Staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you, even though they have a very busy job and we're doing their best to keep up. The room location was brilliant, decor was good, room size was just about sufficient. Clean sheets and towels all round. Amazing breakfast. Would stay again and thanks to the wonderful staff.

Absolutely loved loved loved our room. Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, fab bed & great location to explore the surrounding areas & walking distance into Wells town centre. Ensuite was 5* with a great walk in shower. Mini fridge, coffee making facilities & hairdryer provided. Bar & restaurant equally good, food was great & a lovely little sunny beer garden too. Lovely hotel with friendly, smiley staff. Real sense of history. Our twin room was really wonderful. Little touches like a table, chairs and bottle of house water were nice too. Breakfast was in a cosy but roomy dining room. Staff, again were very helpful and cheerful. Continental buffet to start, whilst choosing a cooked option from the menu, which also had veggie options. A great stay, thoroughly enjoyed it!
