Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall.
The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Deva bears special significance worldwide, to members of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, as its castle dungeon was the scene of our founder, Francis David's imprisonment and death. Freedom of religion, an idea first proclaimed in Europe at the Diet of Torda in 1568, is associated with his name. His life's work is revered throughout the world. So it was most disappointing that references to his legacy have been removed in today's Deva Castle. The multilingual guide posts convey a generic non-story, totally lacking substance. A visitor is left puzzled whether this occurred by ignorance or by design.

Deva is a beautiful city.
Deva is a beautiful city. We got to see the Deva Airshow which was the highpeak of our stay. It's really easy to get to the citadel by foot from the center town. We didn't stay for a long time so we didn't get to do much but we recommend to visit the citadel at night and the aerodrome.

I like very much Deva and it's surroundings.
I like very much Deva and it's surroundings. Very much too see and visit: the fortress and Giardini di Zoe in Banpotoc are a must do!
Very clean and pleasant town, nice city center with great terraces like The Refresh! Have a fresh there, it's nice!
I also recommand Hanu lui Mos Opinca for a great meal and view over the fortress and the city.
From the moment we parked at the hotel to the point we left we had a great experience at Hanu lu Moș Opinca. We enjoyed a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace and patio, beyond what we imagined it would be. With the orchard around us, Deva Castle in all its beauty against the horizon, the valley below, the mountains around, and the staff so attentive to our needs, it was the best place to stay at.
The food we had in the restaurant was very tasty and the staff very helpful, and they've really made us want to go back one day.

Very clean room
Nice breakfast that includes different kinds of tea, good coffee and tasty omlets

Charming atmosphere inspired by turn of the XXth century Art Nouveau. The room was spacious and clean, plus it had an electic kettle -- maybe not a big deal for most, but I have been in many hotels without such amenities and it was nice to have the option to cook a noodle soup or drink some fresh tea. The staircase had a cute selection of vintage items such as a typewriter, gramophone and violin.
Very clean, very beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood and close to Deva center and main attractions. Excellent breakfast, best cappuccino and omelet I had in all Romania! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Large, tranquil, gorgeous court yard where you can unwind after a long drive. Parking is free and it’s in the courtyard. We will definitely return if passing by Deva!
Also I am a very frequent traveller, this was probably the most professional hotel that I have ever seen. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff was unbelievable. At the end of our stay we had a Zoom meeting with our home institute, an for that they have made available their special meeting room. I can only recommend this hotel to everyone - Many thanks,
The best apartment in Deva, we are coming back for sure. The owner was very friendly and provided us info about city attractions. Self check out, clean, cozy and quiet apartment at 7th floor, with Deva citadel view. The bed was very comfortable, with high mattress. You have a room closet where you can keep your luggage and makes you feel like home.
The house is very pleasant, very clean.
It is located close to the city center, at walking distance. There is a beautiful garden out back and make sure to meet Rambo, the energetic dog that belongs to the nice owners. Very hospitable for a stay in Deva.
Extremely clean location, very comfortable beds, big rooms, coffee, tea and water provided by the host. We could see the Deva fortress from the window. The entry to the location is based on a code provided by the host, very convenient.
* The host was very helpful and friendly. He send us a message with the main attractions from the city and nearby.
*Cozy place, the rooms were clean and fully equipped.
*Amazing view, you can see the Deva citadel from the balcony.
We enjoyed our short stay at Casa Alina very much. Very clean room, larger than expected - bathroom as well. Wonderful garden and view, the breakfast was also great. We will stay here for our next trip in Deva and recommend it!
It was better than many hotels everything new, clean and comfortable, amazing place must visit I gave it 10+ great owners helpful and kind. It has everything and I mean everything. Deva is beautiful .
Excellent location on the road to Deva, brand new hotel, parking on site, very nice and professional staff. If you like to visit Hunedoara, Alba Iulia and Tara Hategului that’s the place to stay !!!
all we liked from Casa Mora, specially the host is amazing friendly, made a great welcome to us and the breakfast was better than in most 5 star hotels I stayed all over the world.
Great hotel with wonderful staff. Facility and grounds are awesome - peaceful, but with lots to do. Love the swimming pool and
outside bar area. the rooms are beautiful and unique.
From the outside it looks derelict and run down - like all other buildings in Deva - but is nicely made inside. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glasses. Good Wifi and smart TV.
