The house was a surprise, a former priory with lots of history in every beam and wooden door. Large room, whimsically and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed. Safe storage for our bicycles. Our hostess took excellent care of us and served a tasty breakfast as well. Would love to stay there again in the future.

This is a great place if you are doing something in Puyoo or Pau or nearby. There are decent roads for bicycling and the countryside is attractive. It is about 300m from the Puyoo train station, so I did not need to rent a car. The host rented me a bicycle for a reasonable price. The kitchen was nicely equipped. One could have even baked something. There is a supermarket within walking distance. The hostess was friendly and welcoming.
