A great little French village with two good hotels and the...
A great little French village with two good hotels and the excellent Cafe Napoleon. The locals are all so friendly; English language varies but with pigeon French you will get by easily. There's even a local cricket club if that is your thing. Transport is easy from the coast as there is a direct bus or a taxi will cost about 40 euros from the nearest train station. If you like walking then there are some amazing hills which are often the site for seeing hundreds of parasailers and the odd confused buzzard. If you have a couple of days to chill away from the Riviera then this is a great choice. A final word of warning... do not book the property called "Maisonnette en résidence avec piscine et tennis" as it is awful and does not look anything like the Booking.com photos and the owner will refuse any refunds point blank.MMattUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
This is a perfect place for walking on relatively flat...
This is a perfect place for walking on relatively flat country in the National Park just North of Grasse. There is a bus service to villages further up the mountain. Reasonable shops and cafe's, including a SPA supermarket.
