Rigi is just across the lake and there is an unobstructed view of the summit. I don't know the age of the hotel but has the appearance of being old, yet has modern facilities. Breakfast was nice and included hot items. There is a small well-stocked grocery within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Moreover, we got a room category improvement, which was really nice. The room was clean and had everything you need. A great bonus was a free minibar. They put us in the newer building in a lake view room at no extra charge. It was quite a treat for us. I think they had plenty of rooms open that night.
