Good location, easy to find with parking over the road. Not a lot of English speaking staff and my Spanish is weird, they actually seemed to understand my English better than my attempt at Spanish 😂. We muddled through and they and the locals were friendly and helpful. Comfy rooms and we had some lovely tapas in their restaurant in the evening and a lovely breakfast in their bar in the morning, with a bonus of a member of staff with quite good English. Will definitely stay again.
Offering easy access to the A4 Motorway, Área de Servicio El Cruce is located 0.6 mi outside Manzanares. Set in gardens, it features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

Geographic location to pause a trip from south of Spain to Madrid.
Hotel Manzanares is located just outside the historic town of Manzanares in Castile-La Mancha. Ideal for visiting 'Don Quijote' country, it also offers easy access to roads to the southern coast.

Absolutely nothing. It was awful, everything. Poor location, poor cleanliness. Everything was bad.

I loved the cheese museum and the archives of the bullfighter who got gored fatally in Manzanares in 1934. I loved the 13 euros menu lunch at Menano. Paella for one was possible and was only a first course. Main course followed plus dessert, drink and coffee. Super fast service too.

It was a unique and different type of property convenient off the main route so it was just perfect for a one night stay. We ate both lunch and an evening snack at their restaurant and both were enjoyed. We would stay there again if passing through.

Hotel well placed and easy to find, very near to motorway.
Hotel well placed and easy to find, very near to motorway. Attentive staff
even though stretched by full house. Plenty of free parking. This hotel has it's own swimming pool, most welcome on such a hot day.

Small lazy town worth visiting for the many good cheese...
Small lazy town worth visiting for the many good cheese factories in the area. A very good producer of cheese - Antonio Cabrera - can be found in the main street in the center, just across the Mercadona shop (Calle Jesus del Perdon 41). The aging celler is from 1780, the family (now fourth generation) has been making cheese since 1932.
The hotel states it has baths and showers, and I requested a bath, but when we got to the hotel,
the receptionist said none of the rooms had a bathtub, my wife has arthritis and after a long journey she needs to soak in a hot bath, to relieve the pain,
could you therefor please ensure that hoteliers give the correct information in there descriptions so as not to expect there is a bathtub, especially when you get a reply from them saying they will accommodate us with a bathtub in the bathroom, thank you, Mr Brian Tweed.
Difficult to find even with the SatNav as streets are closed at certain times of the year. The hotel was a fort and interesting. The beds were not to my liking and don't even think about booking if you are disabled as the rooms are on 2 floors with the shower room and toilet on the ground floor. Going down the stairs are dangerous in my opinion.
In saying that the staff were very helpful and the simple breakfast very good. The evening meal in the dining room was also very good.
Really nice hotel in an old castle in the middle of Manzanares. Nice comfortable beds, the rooms are rustic but very nice with 2 floors and plenty of space. Good free street parking nearby. Excellent food and wine in the hotel cafe/bar. The main restaurant was still closed during our visit, but it's still excellent in the cafeteria. Friendly staff.
Really fun hotel built into a historic castle, with a solid restaurant/cafe on-site. Rooms were large, interesting, and well furnished. The castle itself was fun to explore. Located in a quiet, safe part of Manzanares.
This is a unique hotel with two story rooms. The bathroom was renovated and very nice. It has a very nice little bar and they serve delicious tapas. They spoke a little English, which made it easy for us.
Hotel food was very good it was just a stop over for us so didn't look round the town much and it was so hot to walk about but what we did see looked nice would us the Hotel again if that way on
The clean rooms with balconies, the art and decor and delicious breakfast plus well-kept gardens. Friendly staff. Our first stay in a parador hotel and a very good experience
Size of the room, style of the property, restaurant and staff were very helpful.
This hotel is only a 2 star but should be much higher.
It far exceeded my expectations.
great location. we had to drive from Granada to Madrid for an early flight and the hotel was perfectly located to allow us to have a nice sleep before our flight.
the staff are nice and friendly , I left my favorite coat and they send it to me immediately, I am a very happy costumer . Hotel Saga is highly recommended
