The old city of Toledo looks magnificent from the parador or from across the valley. There is an attractive river walk outside the city wall with historic bridges which lead up to the city. There are many cobbled streets to wander around but we couldn’t find a quiet traffic free square to enjoy a coffee and people watch. The old city was interesting to explore with so much of the old walls still intact. You can see the sites in one day. We caught the fast train from Toledo to Madrid (just over 30 minutes) on the other 2 days of our stay

Beautiful storybook-like old town. Great food everywhere. Our faves were the churros and carcamusas. If walking is not for you, there's a cute train that you can ride to see the highlights without having to walk up and down the cobbled streets.

The city is beautiful.
The city is beautiful. The sites however aren't much to look at. The only two really worth it was the cathedral and the jesuit church. For example, the synagogue, you enter and you've seen it all. Entre Dos Aguas has only five rooms so you feel and are treated like a guest in the late Paco de Lucia’s home. There is a lovely terrace on the rooftop for drinks as well as a center courtyard and studio area that guests can enjoy. The staff is wonderful — kind and extremely helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was an unexpected bonus to our stay. The restaurant in the hotel is an unbelievable experience that shouldn’t be missed when in Toledo.

There is a free public car park 5 minutes walk from the hotel and parking directly in front of the hotel for a fee. The hotel itself is very comfortable. The heating was switched on, as the night got quite chilly. The room was of a generous size.
