The area of the hotel was in was extremely beautiful.Property was nice and clean with friendly staff. Buildings were beautiful and new.

I can’t say enough about this property. It was absolutely spectacular. The house Keith and Margaret were beyond accommodating. the add stated breakfast was included, but we had no idea that it would be a full menu. absolutely delicious. The hosts were very personable and made themselves available for whatever we needed. The little cottage itself was spotless and came supplied with tea,coffee & a few little goodies in the refrigerator. I would most definitely go back there again.

I had to travel roughly 4hours to attend a funeral and this place was a great find.
The pool was so clean.
The rooms were nice, I loved that there was no gross carpet everything was clean and comfortable..

It was completely different from what I was expecting-in the best way. Gorgeous old building, loved the steps out to the balcony, great view with soothing sound of the falls, appreciated the extra cozy blanket found in the closet, access to Netflix is always a bonus!

Like the city, it has a nice access and activities to the lake. The boat trip to view the fireworks was mediocre. Unlike boat tours in different areas, there was no information or explanation about the area, history etc…it was also hard to view the fireworks the way the boat was located.

Gravenhurst is a beautiful town with great vistas of Lake Muskoka. We stayed at the Taboo but it was kind of off the beaten track so we didn't get to dine out because it was too far to drive. We were only there for 2 days and unfortunately it rained on one of them so we didn't get to take the cruise. The shops were lovely. Getting around wasn't easy ...the signs were poor for visitors who didn't know the area. I think if we came again we would stay at the Residence because it is closer to the amenities and restaurants.Rosalind - 8.0Scored 8.0

We realized that early in the week in March, a lot of places weren’t open-that’s ok. We were able to visit nearby places and XC ski, which is one of the reasons we came. We’ve been before so knew what to expect. We will be back as we can pass through on our way further north to see family.

This was a nice quiet place to get away from the rat race. The fall colours in early October were gorgeous. One thing that visitors should be aware of right now is that a lot of restaurants have shut down or limited their hours because of COVID-19. There aren't a lot of options for going out to dinner, especially Monday - Wednesday. However, we discovered that the Boston Pizza has a patio with a lovely view out over the water, so that's nice. Better than the view of the strip mall parking lot from the Boston Pizza parking lot back home, for sure.Morrison - 10Scored 10

walking distance to the town, shops, walking deck, to the lake and all other important things you may need in a vacation. We ate at Boston Pizza, and a restaurant close-by. both were good. I don't need to read the reviews on this location. I believe the Gravenhurst Inn well managed.
