The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The room was great - we loved the outdoor shower! And the boma for dinner - just magical. They had everything set up beautifully for our 2-yr-old twins - down to the blankets in their cribs. The twins loved the blankets so much they wanted to take them home with us!

The location is situated in a quiet place with two of the main bedrooms in perfect view of the Bushveld. There was an amazing splash pool and the water was perfect on the sunny day that we were there. The host was very friendly and assisted us with towels which we had forgotten.
Close to crocodile bridge. Malelane is only half an hour away. Komatipoort is small and does not have many storey, so get your groceries from malelane before you get to Marloth .
They were opening a small spar there before we left marloth.

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature.
Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature. However, for more that 30 years, nothing has been done to improve roads. The roads really are in very poor condition. For example, if they have paved 50 meters of road every month, then after 30 years they would have covered 18 Km!
Shops and restaurants are good and are still improving.
Security is very good.

We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years.
We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years. We like to get away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. However Marloth has become a little messy. The "bus stop/workers" section opposite Marlothi is a turn off. It looks messy and sort of townshiplike. Hopfefully Marloth can take action against the messiness of the parttime workers

What I like most of Marloth Park was the free roaming wild...
What I like most of Marloth Park was the free roaming wild life in their natural habitat. They came up to your door. Buy your groceries before coming to Marloth Park. However if you forgot anything do not worry the town has a little shop where you can find everything you need.
Respect for animals. Guided bushwalk with Rick a must. Various restaurants with reasonable prices with good food. Sit back relax and just watch the animals and birds. Nice stalls with homemade goodies for us city slickers. Quad bike rides really nice experience with your older children, extremely fun even for me doing it for the first time with my son. Do not worry you drive on a plot just outside Marloth park gate so wild life is not disturbed.
This is self-catering accommodation. Very centrally located within Marloth Park so easy access to the main road for fuel or the local shop.
We had animals walk through the yard daily.
Our bed was large which was great.
The home is comfortable and the air conditioner worked well for our needs when there wasn't load shedding.
The home is nicely decorated although storage is a little lacking.
Wifi is provided and it worked well for our needs, thank you.
Overall, a good stay!
This lodge is located right on the edge of the crocodile river that borders the Kruger National Park. The views are amazing and the wildlife that roam free on the grounds is out of this world. Kudu, Impala, warthogs, monkeys to name a few will all pass by for a visit. The sound of the fish eagle is breathtaking. At night you will enjoy the sounds of hippos, lion and hyena. Truly majestic. This lodge is not a big lodge so you feel spoilt and taken care of.
House was as expected for a property in the bush, SA has load shedding of its electricity at the moment which was a shame (Not the host's fault) but with battery lights and a campfire, we managed. Was good to rent a complete house. Animals came up to the property and the area was very peaceful. The house had everything that is needed for a short stay. Marloth Park itself has all necessities (Petrol station, supermarkets, restaurant, pub, water park).
The lodge is ideally located. It is close to the shops in Marloth Park, but secluded enough to not hear the noise from the main road.
Everything works on solar, which was a bonus due to the loadshedding.
Kitchen facilities were great, there is even an air- fryer.
Overall the setting was great, some of the wildlife came close to view as well.
The lodge was recently changed from a backpackers to two private ensuite rooms.
From the moment we stepped into the house, the bushveld calmness could be felt instantly. The house is beautiful, the layout so practical and spacious. Everything that you could need on a holiday was there. This is definitely the best place we have stayed in at Marloth Park over the years. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable.
Thank you Kobus - for sharing your piece of heaven with us, looking forward to the next visit!
Kiburi Lodge is our family favorite at Marloth Park. The owners are so kind, friendly, well organized and helpful. We stayed there twice and in both occasions spent time with us and told interesting stories about the animals to our children, who absolutely adore them. The house is very well equipped, clean, very spacious and the beds are really really comfortable.
We stayed here for two nights. The owner was very kind and helpful. She arranged the safaris for us.
The breakfast and diner were great. The service was excellent. Try the Ostrich it is very delicious.
If you need a place to stay around Marloth Park this is definitely a good place.
All facilities were there, airco, good shower and most important a good bed!
What a great house in Marloth park. We experienced daily interaction with several types of animals which came right up to the unit. The house is well located within the park with comfortable outdoor and living space and a splash pool. The house is perfect for a family holiday - well equipped and clean. I would recommend this house to anyone.
Conveniently located in Marloth Park, with good choice of restaurants and pubs nearby. Very secure and the hosts were there to receive us and offer any assistance, also very warm and friendly and never interrupted us during our stay. Home was comfy and spacious. We never used the pool as we spent the days at Kruger Park.
Perfectly located for Crocodile Bridge or Marlene Gates on the banks of the Crocodile River in Morloth Park a half hour drive from both gates. Beautiful, clean, well appointed room with balcony and river views. Comfortable bed. Crisp sheets.
Great breakfast and dinner and the entire staff are a dream.
The studio is great, it had everything. But Marloth park is so humid, i spent most of my time in doors! lol. I got visits from my favourite animal, Zebra! so that was fun. The host was really amazing, she even extended my check out time, as if she knew i really needed it! Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful stay at wielewaal
The owner were so caring and welcoming
We wish we could stay longer
We recommand with our eyes closed
Its also really well located only few minutes from krueger. Compared to other lodges, this one has a fantastic interior design you will not regret it
Perfect location. Only 30 minutes drive to the Crocodile Bridge Gate to go into the Kruger National Park. The animals within Marloth Park was a bonus. The facilities exceeded our expectation.
The area is situated in the middle of nowhere.one get to unwind, all activities are closer and no need to drive kilos. The visitations from the animals was even a bonus
