The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

We were on an ancestry discovery trip, so the location was convenient to some of the little towns I wanted to explore. The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit.
The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit. Public transport is very affordable and efficient and within easy walking distance of the Hotel. We had a full day trip to Stuttgart and enjoyed the open top bus trip and one of the many museums around the central piazza.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom

We paid for parking but was worh it. From your car you could go directly to the hotel. Not a far walk to an area where there were many food choices. We did not take full advantage of the area because we stayed in Ludwigsburg because it's proxsimity to the car museums. We enjoyed our stay.
