The room was very clean (if a little dark as it was north-facing) with a very good shower and a comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet and I had a very good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was very standard but fried or poached eggs were cooked fresh and to order and arrived quickly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were good communal spaces to sit and relax.

Would recommend to anyone staying in Bedford. Host was really lovely. Great space - you could easily spend time there and just relax. Really like the electric fire and the lampshade in the main room. The flat exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay again.

The ad pace was not big enough. Ventilation was poor.. outside seating area was lovely. But only one staff member looked happy and easy to approach. Maybe some staff training and incentives..
