We wanted to stay out last few nights outside of London with easy access to the city. This worked perfectly with clouds access to the train stain in Staines and short run to Waterloo Station. Staff was friendly and helpful and had good suggestions for eating and exploiting. They also served a great English breakfast.

When we arrived the staff, and particularly the maintenance man went out of their way to find a safe place to safely store our large tandem bicycle. Our room was comfortable and both it and the bathroom were clean and neat. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were delicious.

After reading some of the reviews I had a few concerns however upon checking in I was pleasantly surprised. There is no lift but it only took around 12 small steps to walk up! The reception is not a long walk from the road as others have said. The rooms were plenty large enough for the 2 of us and I found the staff extremely professional and courteous. Bear in mind I have a background as a hotel trainer in 5 star hotels across Asia and they exceeded my expectations. To sum up: this is the perfect hotel for anyone wishing to stay near Terminal 5. It took us 25 minutes to walk there from the airport!
