Set in Saint-Chamas, 44 km from Arles Amphitheatre and 47 km from Les Terrasses du Port Shopping Centre, le clos des sources offers a garden and air conditioning. We liked everything: swimming pool, quite and natural environment, landscape, view, house facilities (air conditioning, kitchen and cleaning equipment, 3 whole bathrooms, terraces, barbicue, bar, pétanque ground, etc...)

With panoramic views over the Provence, the Alpilles and the Luberon Mountains, and Berre Lagoon, and just 10 km from the Côte Bleue beaches, Residence de Tourisme la Provence offers self-catering... You're at driving distance from beaches to the sea and the lake. Secluded place, a bit 'gated community'. I forgot to up a car window one night without consequence. Istres has a huge supermarket ('Geant'), a good Burger King and pizza truck, a lovely Moroccan restaurant, weekly fireworks and probably much much more. Whole premises of 30+ apartments run by a family who really thought things over.

Located in Vitrolles, just a 3-minute drive from Marseille-Marignane Airport, Holiday Inn Express – Aéroport is a design hotel offering a terrace. Marseille city centre is a 25-minute drive away. Perfect hotel near the airport for those flying early in the morning. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport, but we couldn't use it because our flight was very early in the morning, but the staff helped us order a taxi that arrived on time. Definitely recommended for flights at inconvenient hours!

I arrived after 1 o'clock at night with uber from Terminal 2 (20 euros from the rond outside T2). The room was immaculate - the sheets were snow white and the bed very comfortable. There were good quality soap and shower gel in the bathroom. When leaving, I used the hotel shuttle to the rental cars area. I didn't have breakfast. All the receptionists and the driver were very kind, very polite and very helpful.

Lovely tranquil places We were only there for one night but it was so nice and had everything we needed.

Le Devem De Mirapier is located 5 minutes from Salon de Provence in the heart of Provence, and it offers free private parking, free WiFi. We spent only one night in this hotel, as an intermediate stop to another destination. We stayed in a triple room: it was clean, air conditioned, properly sized, very quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the exterior, with a well-kept garden and a large and refreshing pool. We had an excellent breakfast right next to the pool. The owners were kind and helpful with every request we had. Shame that we only spent one night there. Highly recommended if you are visiting Provence.
