Marcia and Francisco are the BEST hosts. From the friendly airport pick up with flower necklace to the accommodation, everything is PERFECT!!!! Well exceed expectations! Their cabana is a nature paradise! Full of fruit trees and flowers. The garden is beautiful and interior of the cabana is tastefully decorated with local arts. Marcia is so kind and goes through the facility with me. She treats you like family, always welcome you with smiles and brings over fresh fruits and eggs. Thanks to Marcia, she found me two amazing guides for hiking and moai tours. She reached out to me well in advance with good information to ensure smooth entry onto Easter Island and national park. She makes my birthday trip extra special & memorable - She got me birthday cake, sang happy birthday with traditional Rapa Nui musical instrument and gifts! The cabana is tranquil & serene, but still within comfortable walking distance to city center. Staying at Cabana Vaenga Miro, I can get a good sense how local islanders live.

We spent six nights in this nice, practical house, and for us this was the perfect place to stay on the island. A little outside the village, made it an quiet accomodation. The house cosist of three rooms. Diningroom and kitchen. Here is all you need to do easy cooking. Bathroom is nice and practical. Sleepingroom with very comfortable bed. The hostess, Moana, was very friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. They both picked up when we arrived, and brought us the the airport when we left. We can highly recommened Cabanas Kainga.

It's a beautiful luxury hotel with gorgeous grounds and the room was huge with a lovely view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and there was a really nice spa and pool.

The breakfast is nice and the location is super, just 5 minutes by foot to the mainstreet and 10 minutes by foot from the airport. Quite streets. The value for the money paid was fair. Bike rentals nearby. Take a bike to get around or walk, everything is nearby in the village. You won't need a car except for the faraway beaches. We did those by bike too though, just 18 km, a beautiful 1 hour ride.

It is the cleanest place we have ever stayed and the service from Paula was superb.
