Everything about our stay here was just fabulous! The house itself is great, very nicely restored, with absolutely amazing views! Although the whole area is beautiful, and the town of Santa Lucia is really nice, we particularly liked the location of this house. On the one hand, really private with total peace, relaxation, and views. But on the other hand there is a fabulous little restaurant just up the road, and the little visitor centre for La Fortaleza archaeological site is really worthwhile, as it makes it so much more interesting every time you look at or drive by the caves. And there are multiple hikes and walks that can be done straight from the house - we did a different 2/3 hour walk each day and they were all fabulous. There is also a walking trail into Sta Lucia.

If you are looking for a quiet place where you can feel the true authentic spirit of the Canary Islands, it is certainly Santa Lucia de Tirayana, and in it the Ancient Historic House. The taste and charm used to decorate the house will give you the opportunity to have a wonderful stay and feel like you are at home.
