The location is very central. We were around 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Valkenburg by walking and 15 minutes to Maastricht. The BnB is very clean, comfortable, and friendly! The host met us at the door with a smile, and was very hospitable. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was very typically Dutch, and was delicious - clearly attention was paid to the selections, as the second day offered a few new choices. The host, Ron, was fun to chat with....he knows a lot about the area and gave us some good tips. Recommended to others is the American WWII Cemetery in Margraten, which is stunningly beautiful and intensely respectful. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation, as well as the places we visited in the area (Abdij Rolduc in nearby Heerlen, Maastricht, Caves in Sibbe, Three-Land border in Vaals, Aachen in Germany). Gorgeous area of the Netherlands, and plenty to do for at least 3-5 days.
