The manager went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, to organise taxis and tours, to help me with all my requests, and have breakfast early.
The room was clean, had enough storage space, the bed was comfortable with four pillows (the variety of pillows was important for me), and the bathroom was super clean with free toiletries, bath robe, and slippers.
The hotel is in the center near the park, close to the beach (5-10 min walk) and good restaurants.
I would stay there again.
Located on the beachfront, Colosseum Marina Hotel features indoor and outdoor pools. Guests can relax at spa, sauna and other wellness facilities along with a fitness center.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a large balcony with a stunning sea view and a well-sized bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even better. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute drive to the city center and right by the beach, making it perfect for both exploring and relaxing. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a cool place to unwind in Batumi.

It was just fine the hotel is not worth 5 stars but it was clean, the address on booking was wrong, you can not check in from front desk but you have to look for them which room they are staying, the location was great but the elevators wast of time and you have to wait 10 minutes or so every time you need to go up or down.

It's a lovely place.
It's a lovely place. Feels much warmer in terms of the vibe, the weather is amazing and the buildings themselves are gorgeous. The good thing is that you can pretty much walk the city and explore all the gems!

Excellent room quality and facilities.
Excellent room quality and facilities. “Free parking” should read street parking. Water views, well yes if you look at 90* to the balcony otherwise Soviet era apartment block view with associated washing view. Private beach, maybe but certainly not when I was there.
Now, check in was the most ridiculous affair in all my world travels. I received a WhatsApp notification 2 hours before arrival about the procedure which I didn’t notice so some fault to me. However on enquiry at the desk I was informed I couldn’t check in but had to go to an office on the 19th floor to check in. When I did this the gentleman couldn’t find my booking despite the WhatsApp text (so I obviously had a booking). Finally with this sorted he informed me that I had to pay my bill in cash not by card. Seriously from a major hotel chain Orbi. Luckily I had cash so payed and was informed I now needed to head down to reception where my key was waiting for me under my name. On returning to reception I was informed “no I needed to go to the office on floor 19”. It was at this point after more than 30 minutes of ridiculous nonsense that I ran out of patience and demanded my key.
I have used Booking.Com for many years of overseas travel and have never been subjected to such levels of absolute nonsense when checking into a hotel. Yes, I realise I hadn’t read the WhatsApp instructions but that is no excuse for the sheer incompetence displayed from a supposedly professional hotel chain.
Yes the room was of an excellent standard but this was far outweighed by the level of frustration experienced by the inaccurate description and incompetent check in procedure. Never again.

In recent years Batumi has grown.
In recent years Batumi has grown. Therefore there are huge high rise districts a bit of outskirts. Relaxed atmosphere. Due the location at the Black Sea, the air is fresh, not as cutting dry asi all over Georgia. You cab buy fres vegetables, cheese etc everywhere, also local wines and spirits. When you look after it, then Batumi has a small alternative scene with regular concerts. The city is one centre for local Muslims, so there are Turkish and some other Mediterranian restaurants. Alos you can take day trips to mountains.

This hotel was too closed to beach and supermarket in which you will buy some foods and other things. Additionally it was somehow closed to city center for touristic sightseeing places and remarks. The rooms which we stayed so nice. The beds were really comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast was good as well tasting Georgian dishes. The personnel as well as the receptionists were really helpful and kind to work your problem(s) out.
We had a very nice stay. The hotel was better than we thought. We had everything there what we need like essentials and comfort stay🌸🙏. It was also a peaceful and quit location. And it’s only a 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and a big grocery store. It was also clean. If we come back to Batumi we would book this hotel again.❤️🙏
