Fabulous accommodation. We had deluxe double room. The room is spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Bed very comfortable. Large bathroom with soft towels and robes. This room has a sunny terrace with table, chairs and parasol. The pool and gardens are lovely. Plenty of parking. Easy to find from the ring road and convenient for the city. The staff are great. The breakfast is exceptional, plenty of choice and eggs freshly cooked to order. We hope to visit again.

Situated in a converted convent in the World Heritage city of Elvas, Hotel São João De Deus features shady gardens and a pool with views of the walled town.

This is a lovely building full of charm and old-world style. We were lucky to have Guillherme check us in and he was very helpful with his information on what to see and where to eat. The room was big and comfortable. Nearby parking was an additional bonus. Definitely on our list of places to return to.
