This is a wonderful cruise on the Amazon (aka Solimões - this is what Amazon is called in this part of Brazil) and Rio Negro rivers. Friday to Monday is Amazon river, Monday to Friday is Rio Negro cruise, you can book either or both. They have several activities every day - boat trips, jungle walks, etc. Tons of food available from about 6am to 11p. And they now have satellite internet service through Starlink. It's kinda pricey but it's a wonderful experience with attentive crew, great food, and amazing views. All rooms have balconies. The shower is very spacious (and big enough for 2 people). Several power outlets in the room.

The kitchen was super well equipped, they even had an air fryer! Everything was very new and well kept. The employees were also super friendly and helpful. 10/10 would come back anytime.

APART HOTEL SENSE II - Localizado Hotel er staðsett í Manaus, 3,6 km frá dómshúsinu Manaus Courthouse og 3,6 km frá leikhúsinu Amazon Theatre. I was thoroughly impressed by our stay in APART HOTEL SENSE II – We stayed in the above detailed property for 6 nights. The room is within the hotel but is owned by a private Landlord (strange but a common phenomenon known as “aparthotel”). The room itself is spacious, clean, tidy with large windows which let in lots of light (my favourite part). The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and large mirror. I found the bed quite comfortable. The room itself is 10/10. The location is also quite good as it is not too far away from the main tourist centre and the Theatre. There are plenty of amenities within the hotel such as the rooftop Pool (it is beautiful), Sauna (you need to pre-request to use this), small Gym, Bar and Restaurant. The view from both the room and the pool was spectacular. There is breakfast available in the hotel for R$60.00 per person, with a large variety of different foods from cold meats to fresh breads and cakes, to juice, coffee, yogurts and fresh fruits. Dinner was also lovely, and the staff were, by far, the nicest people. Carlos at reception went above and beyond for us. He not only provided excellent customer service but also had the patience to list different/unique tourist attractions, answer all of our questions/queries and recommend trustworthy taxis/drivers. He deserves a raise. There is also a small convenient store/shop within the Hotel that is open until late and has all your basic needs such as water, sunscreen, snacks and much more.

Nice apartment, good beds, airco in all rooms, well equiped kitchen. Nice shared swimming pool. Safe compound, access by face recognition (provide pictures beforehand). With a car you can reach the city center and the airport in 15 minutes. Frequent buses stop in front of the compound. Shops close by.
