The modern 4-star beachfront Medora Auri Family Beach Resort, situated in Podgora town in the heart of Makarska Riviera, closest hotel to Biokovo Skywalk, features heated outdoor swimming pools, a... First of all - the hotel itself. It's an old building, but has been renovated in 2016 (or 2017), so everything you see looks and feels new. Neutral, yet stylish interiors, both around common areas and the rooms. Second - the staff and level of service. We asked for an iron and an ironing board, expecting it to arrive the following morning; instead it was brought to the room within 10 minutes. We could not figure out how to turn the aircon on (I had not realized you need to shut the balcony door for it to power on), and the maintenance guy turned up in 5 minutes. The food is amazing, wine and beer are free during dinner. The beach is lovely, apart from an annoying niggle (see below). All-in, by far the best hotel experience I have had.

Ideally located on the edge of Tučepi Beach, Aparthotel Tamaris’s air-conditioned rooms have sea views and satellite TV. Guests can relax on the terrace by the outdoor pool. The hotel was wonderful. We stayed in one bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were kind and polite and always smiling. The hotel is right on the beach, which was very conveniant and the beach itself was not very crowded in this part, which was also a plus.

Boasting a fantastic sea view, the brand-new Hotel Osejava is situated in the centre of Makarska on the promenade, surrounded by 3 magnificent beaches. Been upgraded to room with a sea view. It's very nice to stay at room and see the port and see. Beach is just downstair. Relaxed. Room size and cleanliness is great.

Maja is an exceptional host. The apartment is situated in a quite new apartment complex, with all amenities. A grocery shop 10 meters away, garage parking. The beach is near. Great for families or groups. I highly recommend it!!!
