The only issue we had was road closures due to heavy rain in southern Norway. The staff were very helpful to us in rerouting our travels.

Situated on Lillehammer’s main street, Storgata, this hotel offers a free evening meal and free WiFi internet access. Birkebeineren Ski Stadium is within 15 minutes’ drive. Mushroom soup, very high quality food and staff who take care of everything. Portions are generous and tasty. I recommend the hotel to everyone who wants to visit museums and other important historical sites in this central part of Norway.

Situated in Lillehammer, this property provides both guest room and apartment accommodation. It offers free WiFi and free sauna access. Hunderfossen Family Park and Hafjell are 20 minutes’ drive away.... A small hotel in the heart of Lillehammer that’s perfect for taking a break from driving and close to Oslo. I have booked a room for two people which was wonderful and comfortable it had great cozy beds and full functional bathroom that had everything from towels to shampoo. Th view from the room window was something else, relaxing nature sounds and trees to help you sleep, which what I needed after 6 hour drive, also at the reception area you can find a little place that has few coffee and tea and you can buy something to eat like noodles, popcorn and chips to fill you stomach. In the morning I was welcomed to the most amazing and delicious breakfast I had which had everything and matched everyone from vegan to meat lovers , with your preferred drink hot or cold like fresh juice. The 3 stars was 5min walk to the open air museum which I loved and recommend every one to have a look to it.

The design of the room was cozy and comfortable with everything I needed. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, it took me a while to figure out that it is inside the train station - but it was super comfortable to come and go and travel in the city just by walking (I came on a Christian Holyday so there was no public transportation in town). And it also looks very beautiful from the outside.
