Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. The pool is absolutely stunning! We had a magical time here, our room was quite, clean and super comfortable. The dinning area for dinner service down by the river was wonderful, the staff super attentive. Food was delicious for all meals. We enjoyed the massive spread for buffet breakfast and the helpful staff when planning day trips. The Spa was wonderful, I had a couple of really great massages, friendly staff and a clean comfortable environment. That pool though - if it wasn't so hot when we were there (April) I could have spent days hanging out there.

The rooms are a bit Spartan but they are comfortable and has plenty of storage. The shower was hot--BONUS!--and the location is perfect for Kanchanaburi. Pool was close by and wonderful. All in all a great little simple place in a great spot in a cool town. Will be returning!
