Boasting barbecue facilities, Nordic House is situated in Petersburg in the Alaska region, 2.2 km from Eagles Roost Park Beach. Very nice hospitality, Cherise is a really kind host. She provided a shuttle service from and to the airport, and helped me to find some new tour options as one of the booked tours has been cancelled. Also, she has made possible for me to be able to kayak at Petersburg Creek (starting from the accommodation). She recommended a short hiking option to the beach from the airport (when leaving Petersburg) instead of waiting there too much time. The room is large with a separate living room, bedroom and kitchen. The downtown is just a 10-15 minute walk. Petersburg has a lot of kind people, I really like enjoyed my stay in the hotel and at the location too (when I was walking along the shore in Petersburg I saw killer whales, seals and sea lions, fantastic experience).

Aspen Suites Hotel Haines features accommodation in Haines. At the hotel the rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchenette, a dining area... No sure why this is showing one star but this hotel is nice, clean. I would give 3 1/2 star but far from a one star.

Set 2 miles from the Haines, Alaska city centre in a forested region, Beach Roadhouse provides accommodation with free WiFi. Very comfortable beds, spacious room, the kitchenette was fully supplied, clean and really nice location in the forest.
