The host was amazing, super kind, friendly and engaging to speak with. breakfast was superb. she provide a pass for the transit system and had lots of advice on where to go and what to see.

A haunted place covered in forest with no one around. Really bad. I entered in and left without staying after seeing the horrifying place. It was all dark and there was not a single person in the whole old building. I complain this to Booking.com and do not recommend anyone to book this property.

This hotel has excellent price-quality. Beds were comfortable, very easy check-in without hassle, and wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit. The host is very nice and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is fully equipped and suitable for large families or a group of friends. The kitchen is fully equipped, but unfortunately due to lack of time I was unable to use it. There is a coffee machine with its capsules. I liked their care, attention and quick response. I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel, area, everything was amazing. Also, being located in a forest, the air was fresh and it was very peaceful! People at the hotel were very welcoming!

Quiet town outside of the loudness of the big cities ... this place is like an oasis of calm. Big size rooms, looks like recently renovated, minimalist design. Restaurant and bar have fair prices. Keep in mind that the hotel is in the hill (like in the middle of nowhere ... it is someting I liked but that is subjective).

I arrived in Basel and had to board a tram to bring me closer to the hostel. A short walk down a city street brought me to the Silo Hostel and I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation! The hostel had a strong but modern industrial motif and was very clean and uncluttered. Staff was wonderful but self check-in is also straightforward. The facilities were lovely - four twin cubicles in my female-only room and the down duvet & pillow were a real treat! Bath and toilet facilities were across the hall and were also clean and modern. There was a tasty and filling breakfast served in the morning. An alternate lounge was also available later into the evening. I would recommend the hostel without hesitation!

Safe parking garage! Very nice hotel with nice rooms. Close to the train if that is your thing! Easy walk to the center!

The room’s décor was an amazing collection of memorabilia from around the world. The collection was tastefully displayed obviously with a lot of thought. The bed & other amities were comfortable and well maintained. I also enjoyed a glass of wine or a beer in the evening on the balcony.

This is the best possible property in the whole Basel area. Although it is located in Germany, it is practically on the Swiss border and has excellent transportation connections to the central region. The apartment is luxurious and comfortable, with a lot of free space to feel at home. The terrace is fantastic and probably the best spot for BBQs and chilling at sunset. The host was so friendly and helped us feel at home. He gave us good advice and put in effort to help us find the best options for eating and transportation to the property. The property is incredibly clean, fully equipped, and situated in a quiet, private complex. If I visit Basel again - this will be my only choice for staying. Thank you so much, Artur! Best Regards

Very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed and a very peaceful place to spend time near the river. It is clear that a lot of care and thought was put into creating a pleasant stay for guests. I would stay here again if I returned!

Excellent place to stay visiting Basel. Very close to the train station and just one station by train to Basel. Plus, the trip to Basel is free. There is a small shared kitchen.
