I thought the rating of 7 is a bit harsh as I found the hotel to be quite adequate. Yes the property is old, but it is well maintained and clean. Adequate free parking and lovely view of the lake contributed to a pleasant stay. Did not take dinner or breakfast so can’t speak to the food service.

It was delightful and charming! The breakfast was wonderful. I came late - about 1130 pm or so- and they accommodated me! It was perfect for a one-night stay!

The hotel is in a great location, especially if you're visiting nearby watch manufacturing companies. Besides the hotel's own restaurant, there are some bars, restaurants, pizzerias, and kebab shops within a short walking distance. A pharmacy and a Denner supermarket are right across the street, with larger supermarkets like Migros and Coop also nearby. The train station is close, and there's public parking available. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, having been recently renovated along with the elevator. The breakfast was decent.
