The room a newly renovated. The location is a little bit far away from the public transportation, specially when you have heavy luggage. I didn’t contact with the staff very much, but the people in the whole town are very friendly.

We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was well maintained, and the welcoming atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. My family and I would gladly return

We LOVED our stay at Waldhaus Leukerbad. I was looking for a place to give visiting friends a taste of charming Swiss chalet / alpine atmosphere, and this hotel was perfect. What an idyllic spot. The hotel is situated right at the top of the village, nestled up against the forest, with spectacular views, many walks (and in winter, skiing) beckoning right out the front door. We signed up for the multicourse pension dinner, and loved every course! All at an incredibly reasonable price. The hotel gives special attention to the marvelous wines of the Valais (this region of Switzerland). We ordered wines by the glass in order to taste a variety - including a lovely white house assemblage of Chardonnay and Heida. The staff are so kind and attentive. Our friends also enjoyed the extensive collection of Grappa! Last but not least, our little chihuahua was thrilled with the special attention, bowls and blanket laid out for him, and even a bag of treats that our picky eater actually loved! What a delight all around.

We had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I don’t usually leave reviews on the platform, but this stay and, especially, the hospitality we received are definitely worth mentioning. From the moment we arrived, our host (Ms. Manuela) was extremely helpful, supportive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and at home throughout our stay. One small gesture that really stood out was when she brought us a child bed rail guard without us even asking for one. It showed how thoughtful and attentive she was to our family’s needs. She was also incredibly helpful in guiding us around the area, explaining where to go and what to see not only within the city but also beyond it. Her recommendations and local knowledge made our visit much easier and more enjoyable. The place itself was excellent — very clean, peaceful, and quiet, with a beautiful view that made the stay even more special. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring. What made the biggest difference, however, was the warmth and hospitality of our host. She made us feel more like guests in a home than simply visitors staying at a property. We left with very good memories and would definitely stay here again when we return in the future. Highly recommended, especially for families and anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable place with an exceptional host

This was the most exceptionally wonderful little hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. Family run, they welcomed me and provided in so many ways during my stay. I forgot an important piece of clothing for my hike and nowhere in town had it available to rent, so the lady running the hotel went home and got her father’s coat for me to borrow!! The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very cute. This hotel is right next to the church in town. It is run by a brother and sister and dad. I would stay here again without any hesitation and recommend anyone else to do the same. Thank you for the wonderful time in Leukerbad! Note: they also offer discounted access to the cable car (15 CHF through them rather than 60CHF if you buy a round trip at the cable car), and to the baths (both the Leukerbad pass but ALSO they have an additional deal available for a few CHF discount). This was a wonderful surprise.

Everything was amazing, super good, very spacious, perfect for 5 adults but the house can actually accommodate Upto 8 people. Big kitchen with everything we need, nice big balcony with an amazing view in the middle of neighbourhood. 3 bathrooms were very helpful, beds comfortable, side table, big dining area, separate sitting area. We booked for 2 nights, late check in was very smooth as well described.
