The view is amazing. Room a good size and comfortable. Very good breakfast. Staff friendly

Everything was perfect, especially considering the price. I was not expecting much but it was really great. Clean, kind and attentive staff, well located, good restaurant and breakfast and good looking overall.

It’s a charming, small hotel beside Lake Maggiore. There’s on-site parking and it’s a very short walk to the centre of Locarno or to the ferry terminal to towns further afield.

Excellent room, large bed, comfy mattress and pillows. Large enough bathroom with clean towels every day and great shower. Decent size balcony with great views. Lovely garden areas and interior decor. Excellent staff.

The location, the rooms and the bar/restaurant that belonged the hotel, serving excellent breakfast. The only cumbersome part was the phone based key cards but it doesn’t affect the overall opinion of our stay. The bar/restaurant manager, Dario, delivered a top service, both friendly and helpful at all times.

It could not be closer to the main station. Perfectly situated - also close to the lake and the old town.

Perfect location next to railway station

A beautiful hotel in quiet area in Locarno. Just a few minutes walk to bus station to get into the centre of town. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Will definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it to all.

Palazzo Canetti Locarno is a beautiful accommodation located in the heart of Locarno, directly overlooking the lively Piazza Grande. This historic building has been carefully renovated, offering hypoallergenic rooms equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and private bathrooms with showers and complimentary toiletries. The location is simply perfect. Being in the center of Locarno, Palazzo Canetti allows easy access to the city's main attractions. The check-in and check-out process is extremely easy and convenient thanks to the self check-in system. For those arriving by car, there is a private parking area available for a fee, which can be reserved in advance. When it comes to dining, the area offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, perfect for all tastes and for a delicious breakfast. We can't wait to return to Palazzo Canetti Locarno soon!

Everything is very good. Self check-in. Very clean and cozy.

Location, price, staff, room, external toilet/bathroom, cleanliness, Sri Lankan restaurant with delicious variety of Kottu rotti and other sri lankan delights just next door, nice chick bar downstairs playing nice music and deco, and finally the room upstairs at the 3rd floor was noise free. We were with our 5year old daughter and had no issues whatsoever.

The location was ideal right on the old square and the apt is beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. The little balconies have lovely views. The restaurant downstairs is also delightful.

The apartment was spacious and in a very good location. Everything went smoothly.

The property was immaculate on arrival. It was beautifully decorated and perfectly spacious. The location was ideal, walking distance to the main town square, shops, the lakeside and train station. Carolina was honestly the best host, from before our arrival to our departure day she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and aware of everything! Cannot recommend this stay enough! The town itself was breathtaking. Nothing but amazing memories from our stay in Locarno!!
