Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!!

i really love the place.. very cozy and clean, everything provided by the host. Also the plus point is very near from public transportation, minimarket, many restaurant but still located in a calm and quite village, i enjoy walking around the place to see the environment. This place is also family friendly, with large space comfort for everyone. The kitchen and utensils are complete if we want to cook. Very kind and fast respond owner. Definitely will book this place again if we visit Interlaken again!

Everything - location was right next to Hotel Sonne bus stop from where one can take direct bus to Ost, West and Wilderswil train stations. The property has all kitchen equipments and we could even cook Indian food easily. The rooms are spacious with one bathroom on first floor and one on ground floor. I'm not a fan of hostels, but when travelling to Switzerland you don't get much choice with the high prices. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Big size lockers available on the rooms, secured with a card key so you don't have to worry about bringing your own lock. Location is great, near both train stations in Interlaken, plus the hostel gives you a free bus ticket to reach the accomodation.
