Booked very last minute but the host was so helpful and accommodating. it's located in a nice neighborhood and the building is very modern with secure parking for our motorcycle. This is behind a high gate and electric fence. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The shower is lovely and hot and high pressure, one of the best we've had in Ecuador. It was only an overnight stop for us but it was very restful. Only feedback would be the checkout time is early at 10am. Most our at least 11am. Also it's needs some thicker curtains in the bedrooms as the street lights remain on all night.

Absolute superb service. Had problems on the road with our car, arrived with a 5 hrs delay after 1am. Despite this, the owner was extremely helpful and kind, was very responsive and flexible. Went beyond normal by organizing a mechanic to come to the apartment and repair our car right in the morning. Can only recommend, super nice people , clean , spacy apartment, silent , safe neighbourhood at a super price.

Look no further, you have found your place! As soon as we set one foot in this place, we loved it. It is a traditional old town home that has been completely renovated with wonderful taste that include a garden and pretty plants, stone, tile and adobe work. The rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable, the place is beautiful and the owner, Franco, is a wonderful Italian guy with the best Capuchinos in town. Some of the rooms have extra high ceilings which gives the place an extra charm, all rooms have a small kitchen with a mini fridge and basic kitchen implements (which is what you will use this kitchen for cause you have a lot of delicious food to try in Cuenca). The place is close to everything you will want to visit in old town, all a 5-10min walk. There is parking available right next door for an additional charge for either day and/or over- night parking. Breakfast we had an assortment of fruit, bread, jelly, butter, juice and coffee with a surprise dish that changed every day. Internet is great, we took a few video calls with no problem. It’s just a wonderful place that you won’t regret going to. When we head back to Cuenca this will be the place we stay in, not to mention the price feels cheap for what you get!

Lovely old building, beautifully restored and decorated and comfortably furnished. Very convenient location, walking distance of everything, including the tram stop to the bus station and airport. Spacious bedroom, fabulously quiet, comfy bed, extensive buffet breakfast. Shared balcony with sofas and chairs to relax in the open air if, like us, you prefer to be outside in the daylight. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. We were able to leave our bags after checking out and after a day exploring Cuenca relaxed in the hotel lounge for a couple of hours before our evening flight to Quito - so much nicer than waiting at the airport! This hotel is the best we’ve stayed at in our four weeks in Ecuador and perfect for a two or three night stay.

The guesthouse was really beautiful and comfy. It was clean and tidy and it had hot water (something that is not to be taken for granted in Ecuador). The kitchen was super spacious and well equipped and the view from the balcony exceptional. The location was also really good, close to the city center and not far from the bus terminal. Also, the people that run the house were really friendly, polite and helpful. We actually changed a couple of hostels while in Cuenca cause they didn't meet our expectations (like hot water for example) and we found this one to be a perfect fit. Bella Vista is definitely a place to go back to if ever again in the city.

The owners will greet you on arrival. They have gone out of there way to make sure my accommodations suited me. They had a lot of local knowledge and shared it freely. The location is extremally nice as the river is across the street and down some steps. The city is clean and the host were great. I will return.

The hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with all our requests and needs. Breakfast came with our accommodations and it was excellent. We were able to get a taxi right outside the hotel lobby. The hotel was in the historic center of Cuenca. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive.

such a great, helpful, and friendly owner. Very comfortable accommodations for the price! Very nice to have access to a kitchen as well. One of the better views in the city.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Nice sitting areas. Bright rooms. Daniel waited for us because we arrived late. He is so very nice. Very clean. Feels secure. Hot showers. Breakfasts were filling and served in a warm. bright courtyard. All the staff are friendly and kind!!

The setting is a beautiful, historic building, well-dressed. the restaurant is peaceful and has a gorgeous view of a garden on the back end of the hotel, you almost can’t tell you are in the middle of the city. The bathroom was a good size, very clean accommodations.
