I was warmly greeted by my host before being shown my generous sized room with ensuite. My bed was extremely comfortable and all facilities were clean. My hosts provided a generous breakfast to my taste and stepped in to tidy my room while I'll was out (with my knowledge). Overall my stay was in a word exceptional and I would definitely book this hotel again when I'm next in the area. Bonus: very close to the train station

A beautiful, historic building of stunning architecture. Despite it being a chilly day and the property being enormous, it was lovely and warm inside. The room was large, beautifully furnished and comfortable. All the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient I couldn’t fault our stay and can not understand the negative reviews I read prior to our stay. The food was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were of a really high quality. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage with Connie who was lovely.

The apartment was nice. It had everything we needed and was located in a brilliant spot. Right next to a small shop and just down the road from the likes of morrisons, lidl and the shopping center on the main street. The area was also very quiet while still being close to everything. The price for what we got was fantastic and the hosts were very quick to answer within operating hours when needed. We stayed for six days so we did generate a bit of rubbish in the bins but thankfully there was somewhere on the property we could properly dispose of it all very easily.
