Accommodation in Linlithgow

Apart from the comfort, staff, the amenities etc, the staff that stayed on and on,!! The flight left Zurich after the time we were due to collect our car from Edinburgh and then I took a wrong turn at the roundabout. At about 2.00am they guided us to arrive at about 2.30am! How wonderful and gracious is that!!

The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable and the stuff excellent! They helped us with a genuine kindness! The location of the hostel is within a 3-minutes walking distance from the railway station with trains to and from Edinburgh, even though Linlithgow merits the visit.

From the very beginning, communication was very clear and timely. We had absolutely no trouble at all finding the location thanks to Nicola’s excellent directions, and Erich met us on arrival to greet us, show us around, and tell us how things worked. The annex was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast items provided were a welcome addition and everyone in the family had something to choose from. The beds were extremely comfy. The fireplace was loaded up with wood and ready to go, but we didn’t need to use it because it didn’t get too chilly. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the apartment since we were only there for one night, but the living area was very nicely set up and there were lots of board games and such available. The rural location is very quiet and a nice break from the city crowds. We have already recommended it to friends who plan to come watch the Edinburgh Tattoo later this year.

The comfort of the apartment was exceptional - lots of little luxury touches (bathrobes and slippers, eggs in the fridge for breakie, welcome pacy was very welcome). All in all a lovely place to base yourself.

Badger’s Den was equipped with everything we could possibly need to make our stay very comfortable. It was warm and cozy despite the weather which meant that some of our sightseeing opportunities were limited. However, it was good to come ‘home’ to our quiet retreat.

Great location central to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Walking distance to Linlithgow Palace. Off street parking and private walled garden. The living area is upstairs with views over rooftops to the Palace.

Large space, super clean, excellent location for train station, supermarket and town center.
