Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, cereals and hot breakfast cooked to order, freshly brewed tea and coffee and host enquired if we needed any extras. Location was perfect, quite location but only a short stroll to restaurant and shops. Lovely garden to relax in. Lots of literature available on local attractions and walks in the area.

Excellent location, 5 min walk to Matlock centre and less to two good pubs. Very easy drive to locations such Chatsworth , Haddon Hall , Bakewell, public transport was available. The free off street parking was one of reasons we chose this property. Property was very well laid out, light, airy and comfortable. The appliances and equipment were of good quality and decoration bright and contemporary. The book shelves had some very good guides including OS map. We would definitely stay here if visiting area again.

This holiday home is very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, it's very comfortable and in a great location to visit Matlock and the surrounding area. It's beautifully decorated and the garden terrace area is lovely. The owner was great at communicating before our visit. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed with our daughter and grandsons aged 7 and 2 in a pirate themed room which was brilliant. It was just right for 2 nights with Gulliver's being so accessible we just had to walk up the road as parking was included with the accommodation. Staff throughout our stay were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was great value. The free evening entertainment for children was a real bonus and made our family holiday.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Barn. Communication with Liz was quick, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The accommodation is well equipped with everything required for a self-catering stay or only a short walk into the village where there are a couple of friendly local pubs serving food. The location is great for walking and a short drive to places like Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, etc.

We had stayed last year and loved it so much we returned and had a longer stay. The only problem we had were on a couple of occasions other guests walked into the barn, maybe some sign could be put up to make them aware guests are staying there to stop this from happening again. The accommodation is excellent, and the location. We are even missing Percy the peacock.Look forward to staying again.

Wonderful staff, happy to help with any enquiries and any accommodations we needed :) rooms looked amazing, very well themed/decorated and the beds were super comfy, the shower was lovely if you timed it right with boosting the water. Parking is great, right next to rooms, and it's just a short walk to the little town.

A group of 9 of us stayed here for a weekend. We loved the house. It was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time during the day playing pool and in the evening the second lounge was cozy and warm. The views from the house were beautiful too. Perfect for all of us. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a break in the countryside.

We didn't actually stay in the rooms because of a mix up with some other guests turning up a day early but the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. They took us over the road for a drink and pizza. Then they booked us some alternative accommodation and drive us over there in their car . From the brief look I had the accomodation looked good.
