We had the superior king room with AC and private bath. It was exactly like the photos on booking.com. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the day and evening staff speak English and sent us WhatsApp messages to facilitate our bookings. There's a shared kitchen with filtered water, fridge, 2 burner stove and tea & coffee 24 hours. Of course, shared pans, kitchenware, salt, pepper and cooking oil available. We were much older than most guests, but recommend staying here It's walking distance to museums, palace, Malioboro street, restaurants etc.

Cozy hostel, I booked both a dorm bed then a private room, both were very comfy. Muk is a great owner who’s always trying to be as helpful as possible. If you wanna visit anything around Jogja (or Java in general) he’ll help you out and make a plan for you if you need it. He booked me a train for the airport because the official app doesn’t work with a foreign card, for example.

What a lovely place! Incredible atmosphere, the breakfast was so delicious, and very affordable. I wish we stayed there longer! There's a carp pond where you can feed the fishes, so cute! The place is simple, but very clean and has everything you need. The shower is hot, and very pleasant. They have trips available, as well as laundry services and motorbike rental. If you're looking for a place that will make you feel at home, look no further. The owners are so lovely, and speak very good English. They are very helpful and welcoming. For me, the interior looked like something out of a fairytale - colourful windows, carved, wooden doors, plants, fishes, and a lot of decorative trinkets. The wifi was very fast - I was finally able to download and upload stuff. I already miss this place!
