Host is very helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. Just like a friend. In addition, the view of the place is magnificent. I will choose this place to stay if I travel to Ibusuki again. Highly recommended.

This is my second time to stay in this fabulous hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Very big, comfortable and beautiful hot spring. Food seems not as good as before, but still delicious.

We had an excellent stay. We arrived in Ibusuki around midday, and the host kindly offered to pick us up at the local train station. Within minutes, we reached his lovely traditional wooden house. The place was simple yet elegant, very clean, and thoughtfully organized. Communication was smooth - for anything more complex, we used Google Translate, which the host handled with ease. When we asked about a place to rent bicycles, he surprised us by generously lending us two of his own bikes, refusing any payment. Thanks to his kindness, we were on our way to the southern tip of Kyushu just 15 minutes after checking in. Overall, it was a very cozy, welcoming, and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Everything was absolutely perfect. A very beautiful hotel in very beautiful surroundings. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was vast, very well equipped, quiet and cosy. The private outdoor bath and the pool are definitely pleasurable. The food was excellent. With a car, the location is perfect to explore the area (nice coast), hike in Kaimon-dake or visit Ibuzuki.

The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional- couldn’t ménage full breakfast but quality was super! All staff great and the staff member looking after our stay Sarin (?) was so wonderfully caring and attentive/ - many thanks!
