Accommodation in Kitsuki

This accommodation was absolutely perfect in every way. I cannot think of any ways to improve it. The house is very large, and would suit a large group. Multiple showers and toilets, a full kitchen and dining room. On site parking, and everything was absolutely spotlessly clean. Our host was amazingly kind and welcoming, and offered great advice about our stay in Kitsuki and our visits to surrounding areas. If I ever return to North-East Kyushu again I will stay here again. Very convenient location to explore the Kunisaki peninsula by car. The owner is super friendly and helpful. This accommodation has everything you might need. There were all the cooking utensils(rice cooker, several pans, fridge, Japanese cups and plates etc). The room was spacious and spotless clean. Kunisaki peninsula has so many beautiful pilgrimage trails, I would recommend this place for anyone who is interested to explore Kunisaki peninsula. Also only 30min by car to the famous Beppu area. Will definitely come back!

- The owner of the place was very friendly. He gave us fruits from his field. - The house was very spacious - Fresh bed linens, towels and amenities were there as listed. - Pet friendly house.

The breakfast tasted so delicious, Mr Taro from the front desk suggested it and very resonable prize. During our stay my niece was poorly, she had a fever and the night staff 2 japanese men rang the hospital for us. He even type the hospital location to my sister’s car because she struggled with reading kanji. They were all very helpful to us,they lend their thermometer even put a translator for my husband inorder to understand him. I have had a problem connecting with my sister to pick us up from the Umi Jigoku and Mr Taro was talking to us in English and all the staffs were all very helpful. Mr Taro even left the desk to ask our my niece was. Please give him an award or praise please. Many thanks to all the cleaners the onsen lady for private family bath.

The staff were amazing! The two ladies checking us in were genuinely wonderful and really contributed to us enjoying our stay- thank you! We discussed dinner options and they made us a reservation. The gentleman at check out the next day was also very pleasant. Breakfast was better than a business hotel and was being replenished frequently. The facilities were exceptionally clean. Our room was advertised as compact, which it was but my daughter and I could share the bed and as we had carry on it wasn’t a problem. Perhaps some foreign travellers may struggle but we were perfectly fine. I felt safe alone with my daughter. Double glazed windows kept the sound out from the road which we really appreciated.

Absolutely everything! Staying here has been an amazing and calming experience. The cozy café downstairs serves delicious food, and the owners are such kind and heartwarming souls who fill the entire space with love. If you're looking for a peaceful stay close to Beppu, this place is perfect for you!
