Everything. Home away from home. The Villa had high quality appliances. Bedding was very comfortable, linens clean. Open plan living worked well with a family of 4. Toiletries were abundant and of good quality. The owner and his wife were very hospitable. We accidentally switched off the water heater. After a long day out, we didnt have hot water. I sent a message to the owner and within 5 minutes he was at our door. Highly recommend this place!

For dinner we had the seafood kaiseki set and the beef kaiseki set. We were astounded with the way the food was presented as well as the quality of the food. Same with breakfast. The staff provided impecable service throughout our stay. The rooms were roomy and clean and we enjoyed the private baths. Kakuraisen has set a very high bar.

The room is very comfortable and has all the facilities one needs. It is brightly lit and I have no problem doing my readings on my bed. The bathroom is a nice surprise with a suitably sized bathtub and a stool which makes one feel like in a private onsen. The projector is another great surprise. Its projection on the wall is sharp and bright. The beds and the pillows are perfect and we have a good sleep. The microwave oven enables us to reheat food for breakfast. Everything is so nice for this price!
