Accommodations in Wako

The hotel is amazing in every way. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff is extremely helpful, they answered every question and were always ready to help. The view from the room is fantastic. Even though we initially thought that Wako City was a bit far from central Tokyo, it turned out to be very convenient. The window cannot be opened, but it is very large, which makes the room feel more spacious and bright. The in-room technology deserves special praise. For a 3-star hotel, I truly did not expect this level of comfort and modern amenities. Don’t skip the breakfast in the restaurant one floor below. They serve phenomenal fish and a traditional Japanese breakfast, absolutely delicious! An incredible stay for the price! I would return without hesitation to any Tobu Hotel.

The cleanliness and customer service—so very Japanese. Amazing.

We had the whole house to ourselves, we didn't have any immediate neighbors but we did still try to abide by no noise after 9 PM. There was a Lawson literally 5 steps in front of the house and two 7elevens a few minutes walk to the right and left of the house. House is clean and spacious, the two toilets was appreciated. Great space for families or group of friends traveling together, kitchen and living area were very nice.

We were located right next to a beautiful botanical garden. There were multiple comfortable rooms to choose from and our host was very helpful with anything that we needed.

Kyoka was a hard working, kind, hospitable and overall incredible host. She opened her personal side of the home for our family to eat and use our kitchen and found any way possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend this place to anyone in the future.

The place is big enough for 3 adults and a toddler. The entire place is clean. I love that there were lots of pillows!

Very nice house with up to date features

I liked that this property felt a lot like a home away from home. Everything was impeccably clean. Host was very helpful, sent me a video with clear directions from the station. Would absolutely stay again if I'm ever in the area!!

Convenience and proximity to park and subway

Clean and very close to the station

Very tidy hotel with all the details provided

We were a family of 3 in a quadruple room and even though the room was a bit small it worked well for us specially because we had another bathroom just across our room that we could also use. The staff was extremmely helpful and did everything to help us to feel as comfortable as we could be and also receiving and helping us to send our luggage. Akabane is a great neighbour with a lot of shopping and restaurants around (including a Kura Sushi that was not pack as the other branches), and kombinis literally next door. The hotel seems to be far from areas like Shibuya or Harajuku, but with the train station only 2 minutes away, we could easily access those places within 30min max. I strongly reccomend the hotel and the area. We already miss Akabane and the Holic Hotel.

Very close to the Akabane Station, attentive staffs, clean, many restaurants, convenience stores and malls nearby.

Location and facilities were great including the sauna baths only downside was it was closed for cleaning during the day, however wasn't that bad, as was good to see it was cleaned daily. Would definitely come back!

Super clean and nicer than I expected

The host is extremely nice and a good conversationalist. She keeps her home very very clean. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a warm bath tub. The restroom was fancy to me, compared to the other toilets around japan. The rooms are very nice, one has a full desk and the other a nice sized coffee table. A small tv, fridge, and microwave are provided. There is a Don Quijote about 6 train stops down the line and non-touristy restaurants and shops in the area to visit if you are ok with walking long distances. It's at the very end of the Toei Subway-Mita Line which is both convenient and also not convenient depending on time and where you are going.

I arrived with an injured back, and the owner was VERY helpful. Went above and beyond what most good hotels would do for someone in my situation. Incredible price, too. The owner/staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room had everything I needed: refrigerator, microwave, AC, hot water. Better showering, bathing and laundry facilities than most hotels.

The owner was very kind and so helpful.

I loved the fact that it was extremely close to both the metro and the main train stations. There were plenty of shops, eateries, and entertainment venues extremely close as well. Given the fact that the building was secured (needed the key to open the automatic door or the door to the rear parking) made it feel safe to stay in.

The manager was extremely friendly and responsive. They were so kind. They saw we were slowly and painfully walking after a day at Tokyo Disneyland and gave us remedies for our sore feet!

Location convenient to train stations. Close to stores.
