The breakfast was good. The hotel is located right outside the Wakoshi station which is hugely convenient for travellers. Convenience stores, Starbucks, restaurants, clothing stores and whatnot are all in close vicinity to the hotel which gives you everything you want at your fingertips. Our stay at Mokkoan ryokan was definitely one of the most (of many!) exciting experiences of our trip to Japan. The kindness of Mr. Yasuhiko, Mrs.Chieko and all the staff is incredible and a very sweet cuddle. The beauty of the place is astonishing, the vibes of traditional Japanese culture are real and we were really glad to enjoy the beautiful view of their special and perfect garden. The amazing breakfast offered the opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture and we were treated with sweetness and great patience for our many curiosities. But, in reality, the real plus was the company of K-Chan, the super friendly and sweet family poodle, the real superstar of the ryokan. Our stay was incredible and we are still so grateful for all the kindness we received in return. We hope to come back very soon and enjoy the magical atmosphere of Mokkoan and the extraordinary hosts again.
