We are a family of four and we stayed in the double rooms in the villa. We loved our stay, the team were super friendly and approachable and helped us with all sorts of queries about the local area and forward bookings and transport. The food at the hotel was great and we also found some places nearby to eat. The town is a short tuktuk ride away. We went on a stunning hike that was good for the kids and found that we wanted to spend the rest of our time relaxing at the hotel enjoying the pretty gardens and breathtaking views. The team make a great effort to keep the hotel clean and looking attractive and we also learned that they are very community focused which is a big tick in our book. Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely return if in Haputale.

Great hotel with view on tea plantation. Hotel offer you real espresso with sri lanka coffe beans. Room are clean and very nice design. However the hotel ist in 1400 atitude , room was warm and cozy. Owner and his staff are polite and always in good mood and ready to help you.

The host Gamini and his team were extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very beginning. The food was very good too. We had a wonderful stay at Wishing Tree Boutique Hotel. The views are absolutely stunning and the remote location makes it feel incredibly peaceful and special. It’s a bit hard to find at first, but that’s also part of the charm – you really feel away from it all. The hospitality was outstanding. Everyone working there was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. A special thank you to Mr. Sampath, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay and made us feel truly welcome. Being a new place, he was genuinely interested in also receiving regular feedback. This must enrich the experience of future guests further. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with architecture that lets in lots of natural light and frames the surrounding nature perfectly. The food and drinks were excellent – definitely try the bringala, it was a highlight for us! We also had a cooking class to make coconut pancakes organized for the guests, a peek behind-the-scenes where the magic happens! Unfortunately, we had some rough weather with strong winds during our stay, but the team did everything they could to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are also planning to hire a driver in the future, which will make getting around even easier for guests. All in all, a very special place with incredible views, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. We would happily return.

As with all Sri Lankan places we stayed the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. This started prior to our arrival. We liked the location as it is set back away from the beach and therefore beach road in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are very comfortable with A/C and fan. Bathroom was also very good. Would stay again.

This is really the most beautiful location we have ever stayed in, with truly sensational views. We had a magical 4 day stay and would have very much liked to have stayed longer. The breakfasts were outstanding with freshly baked bread and a wide variety of Sri Lankan dishes with ingredients mostly grown in the garden. Diners were also spectacular. In addition, Michael and Ruwanthi”s warmth, hospitality and advice ensured this was the best part of our 3 week holiday travelling around Sri Lanka.

Owner welcomed me with a cup of tea as I came in very heavy rain. I asked to get a room with good wifi and he gave it to me so I could work while I stayed there. The Internet was very good in that room. I had a very nice hot shower. View from my room and from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning. Location is very good, very close to everything. Just under the accommodation in the main road is a local restaurant with Rice and curry with good prices.
