Accommodations in Purcari

This place is the ideal location to have a couples weekend away. The staff are excellent, attentive to your every needs, the food is amazing, you do not need to go anywhere else and the rooms were clean. There isn't many rooms so there is only a handful of other guests which made this felt private. While booking I saw other comments about bad water or the smell. This has seemed to be fixed, we were even drinking the trap water.

A very elegant, cozy, and beautiful Chateau only an 1.5 hr taxi drive from Chisinau. The grounds were simply exceptional, very well taken care of landscaping with ponds, paddle boats, swans and plenty of cute spots to either sit and relax with a book or enjoy a glass of wine. The Chateau, restaurant and rooms are well furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with toiletries, robes and slippers. We were warmly greeted at the reception front desk by Anatoly, he was very kind, informative and personally took us and our luggage to our room, Anatoly was also able to schedule for us a private cellar tour and wine tasting. Our Cellar tour guide Igor was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour as well as tasting an array of Moldovan Purcari Wines, highly recommend the experience. The food served at the restaurant was amazing! They have options of local cuisine and international dishes, like steak and pasta, as well as a full breakfast- offering English, American and Traditional Moldovan options. Our waiter Ceprean was very kind, attentive and helpful with food options. Let’s just say we immensely enjoyed our stay at the Chateau Purcari and will defiantly be visiting again!
