This place was perfect for children. There is a little corner of the outside area for kids with swings, a slide, etc. It's great! My 3 and 6 year old were delighted. There is also a fab little pool that is open from 9 am to 9 pm. The whole area is contained so kids can't run off the property. There is a really charming outdoor, communal kitchen with a cool pizza oven. The property is about a 20 minute walk to the town centre.

This was a fantastic hotel, one of the best we've stayed at. Everything was clean and well thought out. It felt like someone well planned the room and property. Everything in the room (outlets, light switches, towels, etc) was easy to find. Everyone on staff was super nice. And the location was great, right on the main square. We stayed here for Dia de Muertos and we were able to see both parades from the balcony of our room. I don't think that's an option for every room in the hotel, but it was a nice bonus.

My family and I were visiting my son and this is one hotels we stayed at during out visit to Mexico. We loved the rustic style and the whole place was very peaceful and relaxing. There were plenty of places to sit but we particularly loved the little terraces outside each room. Whilst the pool area was small we didn't have any problem with it being too busy. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy with rooms being serviced daily. Food was excellent too and we loved that breakfast was served until late. All the staff were very friendly and attentive too.

We liked everything!! First it was a very traditional Mexican style building next to a beautiful square. Nothing touristic about the area but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Over the weekends there were celebrations, market & music in the square. However the hotel inside was quiet and peaceful. The staff went above and beyond even taking us to the bus station on our departure. Breakfast was amazing and very well priced, we couldn’t believe the prices after travelling around different places in Mexico. We attended a wedding whilst there, they steamed and ironed our clothes. Writing this review I wish I was back there now. After a long 3 weeks in Mexico we spent our final day by the pool drinking margaritas. Service was wonderful l, polite and friendly. We already talked about going back. Kudos to the management and staff for an amazing stay and experience.
