Lovely big, clean rooms and the view onto the beach was just wonderful to wake up to. We had a twin / triple room and the single beds were lovely and big, and very comfortable. Communication prior to checking in was outstanding. Some good local restaurant recommendations too. The staff are lovely. When we arrived, we saw some newly hatched baby turtles running across the beach, so do drive slowly on approach to the accommodation and don’t worry if you arrive at night and the outside lights are off - it is so as not to disorientate any newly hatched turtles. It wasn’t turtle season so we weren’t expecting to see any, and it was a lovely treat when we did see some. We drove to Ras Al Jinz Turtle sanctuary which is 15 minutes by car from the property for the 9pm tour. You can just turn up and they give you a group number and you go out in small groups. We didn’t see any turtles at the reserve (so they didn’t charge us a fee) but they had seen them the day before - this was in December. Staying at Arabian Sea Marina was the perfect way to have a chance at getting to the turtle reserve whilst being able to stay in a more budget friendly and beautiful place. I will definitely be back!

I rarely rate anywhere 10/10 so this says how good it is. There is air con & fans in each room, high quality WiFi (I had a video meeting without any issues), and a decent hot water shower. The friendly host can order you breakfast, lunch and dinner from a local takeaway (it was affordable & tasty!). There are two communal lounges, two balconies facing the sea, one big dining table, and one plunge pool. There's even CCTV for the parking area, not that it's needed as Oman is very safe. You won't be disappointed staying here. BTW you need 2-3 daylight hours to really enjoy Wadi Shab (45 min one-way hike to the first pool + 20 min one-way swim to the cave - a regular car is fine). You need a 4WD if you want to go to Wadi Tiwi. Also the location of Tiwi Pearl is correct on Google maps.

The property is located directly above the Wadi Shab entrance so its very convienent in that reguard, you will need to walk a little ways to get into the town of Tiwi for food if you choose not to eat at the accomodation. The breakfast was large and convenient, don't forget to set a breakfast time when you book it! The bed and room were clean and comfortable. Overall its a convenient place to stay for one night if you don't mind a simpler accomodation.

very friendly manager and nice check in process. staff helped us with our luggage. the parking is right in front of the rooms. I really liked the “open air shower” which was a nice experience and different to other accommodations. the place is quite peaceful early afternoon before everyone arrives- make sure to arrive early to enjoy the calmness and the beautiful environment. the breakfast had fresh eggs (live cooking) which was a bit basic but still very welcome change to other hotels during Ramadan in Oman.

Brilliant location at the mouth of Wadi Shab. Excellent place to stay at the end of a day in Wadi Shab or to be in the Wadi first thing in the morning. The rooms face the ocean with amazing views of sunrise. The accommodation is fairly basic but clean, comfy beds, with kettle and fridge provided. Dinner and breakfast can be made for you and the food is delicious, eaten looking out over the ocean. Great value for money.
