Accommodation in Calheta

Lovely hotel miles from anywhere so if you like peace and quiet this is the place to go. Very polite and helpful staff. Great food in the restaurant, plenty of choices.Wonderful apartment overlooking the ocean and fantastic views all round. Indoor pool and sauna very good and even used outdoor pool..though a tad chilly in January! great location for walks and there's a courtesy bus to Calheta and the rum distillery...all in all a great holiday.

The location of the villa is absolutely great. Close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket and all the island attractions (by car). The accommodation is well equipped with everything a family of 12 people and 3 generations could need. Astonishing views of the sea and the mountains.

The hotel was a perfect retreat after 3 nights in Funchal’s capital. Breakfasts were an absolute dream. The location guarantees full sun, relaxation, and easy access to everything you expect from Madeira. A short walk lets you explore the nearby waterfall, take trips to surrounding towns and levadas, and even the rented bikes in Funchal were delivered directly here. Simply put: an amazing place, not to miss!

It was a beautiful building from 1930 well renovated. It has a great outdoor space quite rustic and has a swimmingpool. Next to the hotel in the garden they had a small restaurant with good regional dishes. They also have good wines with it. Nicely prepaired and cosy. Nice staff. Here you will also have your breakfast inside or outside. Beautiful view. Parking places at the hotel and next to the hotel. Thanks for the good experience!

Great location with restaurants downstairs and beach and supermarket within a less than 5 minute short walk. Good size room to open baggage and balcony area to enjoy the view of the Marina

Very nice and cosy holiday village. Fully equipped bungalow with private terrace where you can lay back. The pictures on the webpages did not reflect the reality. Our stay exceeded all expectations. Having the entire villa just for ourselves was fantastic, especially as a family… plenty of space, privacy, and excellent facilities. The villa is modern, very clean, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool and the stunning view were definite highlights and something we enjoyed every single day. The location is peaceful and ideal for relaxing, while still being a great base to explore the island. The welcome with wine and chocolates was a lovely touch and made us feel at home immediately. We truly felt welcomed and cared for. We would highly recommend this villa and would love to return in the future.

The place and the view is amazing. Manuella is very warm and nice host. The apartament was super cosy and clean, the bed very comfortable and the balcony with the view just fantastic. There is a food shop just few minutes away. Also a comfortable parking place and with car it’s easy to reach Calheta beach. We didn’t use the pool because we stayed just for one nigjt and in the morning had to rush to airport, but I’m sure ir’s very nice to swim here :)

Jorge was a kind and generous host. The roof terrace was a real highlight of the property. Calheta is a great location and Sky & Ocean has great views and is nice and quiet.

The hosts were super friendly. You could tell they enjoy hosting people. I had a bottle of wine and cookies waiting for me on arrival. The place had all the kitchen basics like oil and salt, which are key for short stays and avoiding waste. I had a lovely espresso machine and capsules already there. I even had fresh chicken eggs and radish from their garden left as treats. The place was cozy, just the right size and you were welcome to use the garden furniture. I got to watch rainy and sunny at the same time sunset from under patio roof. There are some really good hikes near by which is why I choose this place so well worth the steep signature drive of Madeira 😅

Location, all facilities, easy check in, great staff

Location is amazing, easy access to beautiful hikes by car and a 2 min walk to the beach or playground. Good restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Everything you need for a comfortable vacation home is available, also for a baby (bed, chair, baby bath and changing pillow, even a few books which were a big hit with our toddler :)). Next time we are in Madeira, we will definitely want to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was very clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. The location was perfect, near the Calheta beach, restaurants, port (whalewatching). The host was very friendly, wrote back to message as soon as possible and self check-in was super easy. A fantastic place for a vacation. The villa is spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you could need. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, comfortable beds, large wardrobes, and balconies with stunning sea views. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utensils, and the living area is cozy with comfortable sofas and a TV, making it easy to feel at home. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach, diving center, and a playground for kids. There’s also a shopping center and great restaurants nearby. Our host was very helpful and attentive. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy from the road in early morning if the windows are open, but being so close to the beach makes up for it.
