The Relax Inn in Yreka exceeded my expectations. The room was bigger than I would have assumed from the pictures. They think of everything which you don't even get at any big motel chains: included were a microwave and a mini fridge. The staff was super nice and helpful and reacted to requests promptly. I could see they tend to the motel with love, care, and consideration for their guests. I stayed only for one night and could not take advantage of the breakfast, as I was leaving early, but the mere fact that there is breakfast included for this price is a bonus! My car could be parked right in front of the room. I would return again.

Check in went well. The attendant was very nice and welcoming. He was professional. The room was modest but clean, clean, clean and well kept up! Everything functioned well. There were thoughtful modifications to the room such as usb plugs at the night stands and standard electrical outlets for each side of each bed. (We rented two queen beds). The windows kept the sounds at bay. When we checked in there was hardly anyone parked at the hotel rooms. The next morning it was full and we did not hear a thing when late motorists must have come in.
